Why Canopy?
The love for fabrics, patterns, draperies, and "tents" inspired the name Canopy. One of the furniture pieces that embodies all these aesthetics is the canopy bed, the classic four-poster bed with a canopy.
From the 4th century to the courts of Louis XIV, canopy beds became a piece of extravagant creativity, adorned with brocaded silks, gold-thread embroidered trimmings, and ostrich feather finials—the golden age of these fascinating beds.
